Translation Analytics — Track Progress Across Languages
What Lang Forge tracks
Lang Forge records every translation event and surfaces the data in a dashboard you actually want to look at. No third-party analytics service. No external API calls. Everything lives in your WordPress database.
Per-language progress
- Total posts in the source language
- Translated posts per target language
- Untranslated posts per target language
- Outdated translations (where the source has changed since the last translation)
- Percentage complete per language
- Word count per language
Presented as a simple table with progress bars.
Per-post-type breakdown
The same stats, broken down by post type. Useful when you’re prioritizing:
- “Products are 95% translated into German, but only 20% into French.”
- “Blog posts are 100% in every language, pages are lagging.”
- “Documentation is fully translated; changelog is not.”
Top translators
If multiple people are translating content on your site, the analytics dashboard shows:
- Number of translations per translator
- Last activity date
- Breakdown by target language
- AI translations vs. manual translations
Useful for agencies and in-house teams where you want to see who’s doing the work.
Activity log
A chronological log of every translation event on the site:
- Who translated what (or which AI provider did)
- When
- Source and target language
- Number of AI credits consumed (for AI translations)
Filter by translator, language, date range, or event type.
Dashboard widget
A compact version of the main metrics lives in the standard WordPress admin dashboard — so you see translation status on the main admin screen without navigating to Lang Forge.
Export for reporting
Every table in the analytics dashboard can be exported as CSV for inclusion in client reports, internal dashboards, or spreadsheets. Agencies use this to demonstrate progress on long-running translation projects.
